What Do We Mean by Tattoo Before Care?

Tattoo before care remedies are purposefully performed to offer you an enchanting experience of inking. And so, we help you with our tattoo before care consultations. Follow the below-mentioned tattoo before care remedies for an amazing tattooing experience.

1) Keep yourself hydrated. Ensure you drink enough water for 2-3 days before getting a tattoo.

2) Do not expose your skin to direct sunlight to protect your skin from getting dried and tanned.

3) Use a sunblock of 60 SPF to keep a shield against sunburn or any rashes.

4) Use moisturizers to soften and get a temperate texture to your skin.

5) Prevent intake of Alcohol/ drug 24hrs before your inking session.

6) Take a decent meal an hour or two before your appointment.

7) Wear loose clothes on the day of the appointment. Skintight costumes enhance sweating and bring irritation on your skin.

8) Frequently take chocolates, juices, and snacks during the session.

9) Shave skin hair on the part where you want to ink your tattoo. Shave the area a day before; nevertheless, it can aggravate the skin and make it more delicate to have a tattoo.

10) Get adequate sleep for at least 8 hours, the day before the session so that you can have the energy to bear the pain and don’t feel tired.

Note: Please let us know if you have any medical conditions. For example diabetes, High blood pressure, any other skin problems, etc.

Why is Tattoo Aftercare So Important?

A freshly created tattoo is nothing better than a fresh wound. It needs proper care and attention. Only an adequate tattoo aftercare session with the experts can help you attain the art as beaut as you have imagined.

There are chances of infections and external contaminations for a new tattoo. And for that reason, we cover your freshly done tattoo to prevent it from any air contaminated bacteria.

After Three Hours of Getting Your New Tattoo

Just after having your new tattoo, it mustn’t be exposed to the direct sunlight. Clean and sanitize your hands before touching the tattoo. Remove the sterile bandage from your tattoo. Take a mild soap with lukewarm drinking water (NO TAP WATER) to create a foam and then gently wash your tattoo. Make sure that you wipe away any ointment, blood or plasma that is on your tattoo. After this pat the tattoo with a good quality paper towel to make it dry. Please do not WIPE or RUB.

  1. Wash your tattoo only with lukewarm drinking water in the first three days. (We recommend you to use the spray water bottle. Use mineral water only.)
  2. From the fourth day, you can start using the ointment/ moisturizer (fragrance-free)/ second skin. (Recommendations may vary as per the weather.)
  3. Do not wax or shave the area where you just got your tattoo done.
  4. The tattoo can be itchy and flake. Use a moisturizer, it can help you not to scratch or pick on your scabs.
  5. Continue using moisturizers till your tattoo heals.
  6. Ignore any vigorous exercise. It can generate sweat on your tattoo.
  7. Avoid hot tub shower and swimming for 2 to 3 weeks. It can cause serious damage to your tattoo.
  8. Take a shower with lukewarm water. If you get soap or shampoo on your tattoo then remove it quickly with water. (Use only natural products.)
  9. We recommend you to wear loose cotton clothes until your tattoo heals. It will help in absorbing the water around the tattoo, skin to breathe and heal faster. Tight clothes rub against your skin and create irritation and itching.
  10. Do not sleep on your tattoo. Try to sleep alone so that no one can accidentally sleep on your tattoo. It can create damage on your inner tissues and reduce the healing time.
  11. Keep yourself hydrated and eat healthy food to improve your immunity and heal faster.
  12. Please have patience and follow the instructions for the best results. It takes one month to see the initial results but takes approximately three months for the tattoo to be healed appropriately from inside.
  13.
