FOUNDATION
1st week
The first week of training is mainly dedicated to the theory and basic pencil sketching.
- Sketching/ naming machine parts
- Different types of Tattoo needles and their uses. We also teach them to sketch those needles to understand them better.
- Getting friendly with whole tattooing apparatus and studio atmosphere.
- Dismantling tattoo machine and assembling .
- Some others topics like history and different methods of tattooing, skin types , ink types, maintaining equipment etc.
2nd week
Second week of training is designed more about practical tattooing.
- Practical of making stencil using hectograph sheet.
- Training to transfer the stencil on real skin. Knowledge about various methods and precautions.
- How to assemble machine for lining tattoo.
- Practice of making good quality Lining tattoos on artificial skin.
- How to fine tune machine for safe and good quality line tattoo.
- Troubleshooting during working with tattoo machine.
3rd week
This week is again all focused on understanding the tattoo machine.
- Stencil making and transfer practice continue
- Making lining tattoo on artificial skin continue.
- How to assemble machine for black colour filling.
- Practice to make good quality black tattoo on artificial skin.
- Training how to fine tune machine for safe and good quality black tattoos
- Troubleshooting during working with tattoo machine.
4th week
This week begins with a test of making a small size tattoo on artificial skin.
- Training on artificial skin continues.
- Satisfactory results once achieved, students are guided to make small size basic tattoos on real skin.
- Making tattoos on real skin following all precautions.
- Training class on tattoo after care, equipment sterilization , legal matters , design customization, safety hazards.
Note : If syllabus not completed in one month or learning goes slow for any reason, we are flexible to extend the training duration with few more days without any additional charges. It is compulsory to do an apprenticeship. For foundation course 6 months and for advanced course 1 year (incl.time of training).
